Suicide blast targets Afghan Vice President’s convoy in Kabul, 2 killed

On Wednesday morning, a suicide blast targetting the first Afghanistan Vice President Amrullah Saleh’s convoy in Kabul killed at least 2 and injured 12. Vice President’s son Ebad Saleh reported that his father Amrullah Saleh escaped unhurt from the explosion. The blast occurred at Police District 4 in the Taimani area of Kabul at around 7:30 am. The area has been cordoned off, while security forces, ambulance, and fire tenders have arrived at the spot.
