Sri Lankan Prez, PM call PM Modi to strengthen India-Sri Lanka relations

On Thursday, Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and PM Mahinda Rajapaksa talked with PM Narendra Modi regarding India-Sri Lanka relationship. After the phone call, PMO stated, “The President and the PM of Sri Lanka, called Prime Minister Modi to convey warm wishes on the occasion of PM’s birthday”. Both the neighboring countries are looking forward to working together to further expand cooperation. They also expressed appreciation for the continued bilateral cooperation in the joint fight against the COVID pandemic.
