Sputnik V: Russia releases first batch of COVID-19 vaccine for public

Russian Government has officially released the first batch of COVID-19 vaccine ‘Sputnik V’ for civil circulation and regional deliveries. The Sputnik V has been developed by Russia’s Gamaleya National Research Center of Epidemiology and Microbiology. The Russian Ministry of Health said, “The vaccine has passed the quality tests in the laboratories of Roszdravnadzor and has been released into civil circulation”. ‘Sputnik V‘ vaccine was registered on August 11.
