Russian health ministry approves first COVID-19 vaccine, first trial on Putin’s daughter

On Tuesday, the Russian health ministry approved its first official Coronavirus vaccine for use. Russian President Vladimir Putin reported that one of his two daughters – Maria or Katerina, has been inoculated with the vaccine. In Tuesday’s meeting, Putin reported that the vaccine has gone through various tests and is safe for use. Putin said his daughter has taken two shots of the vaccine. He added that his daughter’s body temperature has dropped a bit and she’s feeling well and has a high number of antibodies. Putin said the vaccine will be produced on a large-scale by September and mass-vaccination will be conducted by early October.
