Russia sends emergency humanitarian aid to India to combat COVID-19

Amidst the COVID-19 crisis in India, many countries have extended help to the country to combat the situation. Russia has also come forward to help India by sending lung ventilation equipment, oxygen concentrators unit and other medical supplies. On Thursday, the consignment of these equipment have been sent through two special flights to India. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Indian PM Narendra Modi and informed about the emergency help being sent to India on the basis of humanity. PM Modi also thanked the President of Russia warmly for the assistance provided.
