On Monday, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced an extension of COVID-19 restrictions for one more week. During a press conference broadcast on Facebook, PM Ardern said New Zealand will be under level 2 restrictions. The restrictions will operate until 11:59 PM (Local Time) on September 21. According to sources, due to the re-occurring of COVID-19 cases, Auckland will remain under Level 2.5 restrictions until September 23.
