Joe Biden wishes people of Jain faith on Paryushan festival

On Wednesday, US Presidential candidate Joe Biden extended wishes to the members of Jain faith on their festival Paryushan and Das Lakshan. On this occasion, Joe Biden tweeted: “Jill Biden (Joe’s wife) and I send our best wishes to members of the Jain faith concluding the holy observance of Paryushan and Das Lakshan. May we all find peace and reconciliation in our lives”. He added a Prakrit phrase – “Micchami Dukkadam and Kshamavani” which means “May all the evil that has been done be in vain”.
