India sends consignment of vaccine doses to Barbados and Dominica

In India, the world’s largest vaccination campaign is underway. More than 62 lakh people have been vaccinated in the country. Meanwhile, vaccines consignments have already been sent to neighboring countries. Now ‘Made in India’ vaccines have also reached Barbados and Dominica. Foreign Minister S Jaishankar gave this information on Twitter. Recently, India provided vaccines to Afghanistan as part of the ‘Vaccine Maitri’ Campaign. Five-million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine was sent to Kabul on Sunday by an Air India aircraft. Whereas, a consignment of Covishield vaccine produced by Serum Institute of India was sent to Caribbean countries Barbados and Dominica today.
