The 9th round of Commander level talks between India and China will be held on Sunday, 24 January. The talks will be held in Moldo near Chushul sector in India. The issue of ongoing military tension in Eastern Ladakh will be discussed in the meeting. A representative of the Ministry of External Affairs is also expected to be involved in this dialogue. Earlier on 6 November 2020, in the 8th round of senior commanders meeting, both sides said that this meeting helped to ensure stability on the ground. People’s Liberation Army of China said that they would ensure their frontline troops will exercise restraint and avoid any misunderstanding.
