Fire breaks out in Indian Oil Corp’s VLCC in Colombo

A fire broke out from a very large crude carrier ‘New Diamond’ of Indian Oil Corporation off Colombo, Sri Lanka. According to the reports from Reuters, a fully loaded carrier was heading to Paradip in eastern India from Mina Al Ahmadi in Kuwait. There is no immediate comment available from Indian Oil Corporations. More details awaited.
