Daunte Wright Death: Protests erupt in US’ Minnesota, President Biden calls for peace

A black man named Daunte Wright was shot dead by a cop in Minneapolis, USA on Sunday. The 20-year old deceased was accused of violating traffic rules. After his death, protests erupted on Sunday night as hundreds of people gathered outside the police station at the Brooklyn Center. Police fired teargas and flash bangs to disperse the protesters. Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon reported on Monday that the body camera footage indicated that the officer who was attempting to arrest Wright on an outstanding warrant had shot Wright with a handgun instead of a Taser.
