COVID-19 Crisis: UNICEF sends 3,000 oxygen concentrators to India

UNICEF has sent 3,000 critical life-saving supplies, including oxygen concentrators, test kits and other equipment, to help India fight the “catastrophic second wave” of COVID-19. UNICEF also said that it is helping to speed up the National Immunization Program of the Government of India to provide vaccines to all age groups. UNICEF is also helping in the purchase and installation of 25 oxygen concentrators for hospitals in Northeast India and Maharashtra as well as installing thermal scanners at entry points in the country.
