Rafale aircraft to be featured for the first time in Republic Day parade

In this year’s Republic Day parade, 15 fighter jets and 21 helicopters will participate in the flypast show. The Air Force Squad has received the award for Best Marching Squad in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2020. The recently inducted Rafale fighter aircraft in the Indian Air Force will also join the Republic Day Parade on 26 January and the flypast will be culminated by flying the aircraft in the ‘Vertical Charlie Formation’. Wing Commander Tej Pratap Pandey informed in a press conference that models of light combat aircraft (LCA) Tejas and indigenously developed anti-tank guided missile Dhruvastra will be showcased in the Republic Day Parade Tableau of the Indian Air Force.
