‘Delhi Chalo’ protest march of farmers against the agricultural reform laws has became fierce on the Ambala-Patiala border. The farmers tried to move forward by breaking barricades and pelting stones. To prevent their Delhi entry on Thursday, strict arrangements have been made by deploying extra police and security forces and putting barricades on the Delhi-Haryana border. The police used water canon and tear gas to stop the farmers at Haryana’s Shambhu Border. Swaraj India chief Yogendra Yadav and dozens of farmer leaders and protesters have been arrested by the police.
