The pollution level in the national capital Delhi has started rising once again. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi has reached the ‘very poor’ category. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the level of pollution is likely to worsen due to low temperature and slowing wind speed in the month of December. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in very poor category in Delhi’s Sonia Vihar, Anand Vihar, Okhla and ITO areas on Tuesday morning. The city’s average air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 307.
