Budaun Gangrape and Murder Case: UP CM Yogi Adityanath orders strict action against accused

In Uttar Pradesh’s Ughaiti area of Budaun district, a 50-year old woman was gang-raped and murdered by three on Sunday. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident. CM Yogi has sought a report from the ADG regarding this heinous crime. He has directed prompt action in the case and said that the culprits should be punished severely. SSP Sankalp Sharma suspended Ughaiti SHO Raghavendra Pratap Singh after the incident. A case of gang rape and murder has been registered against three people, including a head priest. So far, two accused in the case, Vedram and Jaspal have been arrested while another accused Satya Narayan is absconding.
