The alleged WhatsApp chat of Republic Media Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami has gone quite viral on social media. Senior Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan has also shared screenshots of Goswami’s WhatsApp chat with BARC chief Partho Dasgupta and alleged that the journalist is misusing his position and using his identity in the political circles for personal gain. Arnab Goswami and Partho Dasgupta are allegedly talking about TRP ratings, TRAI, PMO and some prominent leaders in the WhatsApp chat. Meanwhile, the hearing of the TRP scam was deferred till January 29 by the Bombay High Court. The Mumbai Police said that Arnab Goswami will not be arrested till the next hearing.
