Veteran filmmaker Johnny Bakshi passes away at 82

On Saturday, veteran Indian filmmaker Johnny Bakshi died at the age of 82. Johnny Bakshi died after suffering from cardiac arrest. He was admitted to Arogya Nidhi hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu on Friday morning after complaining of breathlessness. According to sources, Johnny Bakshi was tested positive for COVID-19, but later he had tested negative. Bakshi’s daughter Priya confirmed the information to PTI. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher and actress Shabana Azmi paid tribute to the late filmmaker on Twitter.
