Emmy award winner-singer Adam Schlesinger died today due to complications of coronavirus. The 52 years old singer was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 infection. Adam was the bass player and co-songwriter of the 90’s band. After the band’s run, he went on to work in television shows. Schlesinger was nominated for 10 Emmy Awards for writing comical songs for several TV shows, of which he won three. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for writing the title song of the 1997 movie ‘That Thing You Do’, which was directed by Tom Hanks. The actor took to Twitter to express his grief on the death of Adam Schlesinger.
