Farhan Akhtar supports food distribution NGO for COVID-19 affected people

As the country is reeling under the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, many celebrities have come forward to support the pandemic-affected families. Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has also been working with the Hope for Welfare Trust. His donations are being used to feed patients and caregivers in this difficult situation. The secretary of the NGO said that the actor’s donations are also being used for those working at Harishchandra and Manikarnika crematoriums in Varanasi. He revealed, “Eight people from the Hope team are distributing 1000 thali every day in the city.” He added, “Farhan Sir has always stood by us in our time of need and we are grateful for his contribution during these difficult times.”
