Delhi HC refuses to hold the release of films based on late actor Sushant Singh Rajput

Delhi High Court has refused the petition of Krishna Kishore Singh, father of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, seeking a stay on the proposed films based on the actor’s life. According to news agency PTI, Justice Sanjeev Narula refused to stay the release of the Bollywood film ‘Nyay: The Justice’ which is scheduled to release on Friday. Sushant’s father had alleged that the image of his late son was being maligned through this film. He had sought a ban on the use of his son’s name or similar character in other films including ‘Suicide or Murder: A Star Was Lost’, ‘Shashank’ and an untitled film.
