Court extends police custody of Raj Kundra till July 27

The police custody of Raj Kundra and Ryan Thorpe, accused of producing pornographic videos, has been extended by four more days. He has been sent to police custody till July 27. After the arrest, Raj Kundra was sent to police custody for the first three days by the court, which ended on Friday. Mumbai Police had sought seven more days’ custody for further investigation. The Mumbai Police produced Kundra and Thorpe in the magistrate’s court on Friday. The police told the court they suspected that the money earned from the pornographic film business was used by Kundra in online gambling.
