Actor Bhavya Gandhi’s father passes away due to COVID-19

Actor Bhavya Gandhi, who portrayed the character of Tipendra Jethalal Gada or ‘Tappu’ in popular TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah‘, lost his father to COVID-19. According to media reports, Bhavya’s father Vinod Gandhi was recently admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai where he was on ventilator support. He was being treated for COVID-19 for the past 10 days. Bhavya had left the cast of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ in 2017 after working in the show for nine years. Actor Raj Anandkat had replaced Bhavya as the new ‘Tappu’ four years ago.
