A fire broke out in Maurya Mohalla of Sikautha in Siddharthnagar district, in which half a dozen people were burnt to ashes, clothes, grains, and essential goods. After a lot of effort with the help of the fire brigade and villagers who reached the spot, the fire was controlled. The fire broke out in the southwest stalk for unknown reasons. In the midst of strong wind, the fire took the form that in a short time it came close to Maurya Dish and took houses and huts in its grip. Outpost in-charge Rajesh Shukla informed the fire brigade about the incident. The fire was later somehow controlled. All the goods and clothes kept in Pappu Maurya’s thatched house were burnt.
