Tika Utsav to be celebrated in order to increase covid 19 vaccine adoption

Tika Utsav was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a solution to the prevelant pandemic and it’s growing presence in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a meeting help with Chief Ministers of all States suggested that Tika Utsav must be celebrated between 11th April and 14th April as a means to increase vaccine adoption. A few things he highlighted that must be kept in mind while mobilising this vaccine drive is to adopt a zero wastage policy and to create a positive environement around the adoption of the covid 19 vaccine.
