On Friday, Petrol and diesel prices hiked to the next level in India. The pricing of petrol and diesel by one litre has climbed up by 27 paise and 28 paise respectively. According to the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), petrol increased by 27 paise to Rs 96.93 per liter while diesel by 28 paise to Rs 87.69 per liter in Delhi. While in Mumbai, the price of petrol has crossed Rs.100-mark with Rs. 103.08 and diesel costs Rs. 95.14 per liter. Petrol in Kolkata is being sold at Rs 96.84 and diesel at Rs 90.54 per liter. After the increase in the prices, petrol costs Rs 98.14 and diesel is priced at Rs 92.31 per liter in Chennai.
