On Monday, at least 5 MPs of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has removed including Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag Paswan from the post of leader of the party’s parliamentary board. According to sources, late LJP founder Ram Vilas Paswan‘s brother and Chirag’s uncle Pashupati Paras Paswan have been elected as their new leader. The rebel MPs have also refused to accept Chirag as the national president of the party. Paras is expected to hold a press conference at 3 PM regarding his statement over his position. On Sunday, except Chirag, all five of the six LJP MPs wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla demanding separate recognition for their faction.
