On Wednesday, the Odisha government has lengthened their partial lockdown for two more weeks till July 1. According to Chief Secretary S C Mohapatra, the restrictions for partial lockdown will begin at 5 am of July 1. Saturdays and Sundays weekend shutdown will remain active till the June end. Mohapatra also announced that the partial lockdown will be dividing on two categories. In Category A, there will be 17 districts located in the southern and western parts of the state where the positivity rate is 5 per cent or less. While Category B has 13 districts in coastal regions.
