Vizianagaram (Andhra Pradesh). The Vizianagaram district administration has prohibited entry of public transport into the city on 26 and 27 October. This is being done so that the devotees do not face any problem. Significantly, the historical festival of Sri Pieditalli is being celebrated. This festival of Ammavari Temple located in the city of Vizianagaram is one of the major festivals of the state. The administration says that the festival will be celebrated, but with great simplicity. Divisional Officer (RDO) Bhavani Shankar said that the administration has given conditional permission to the devotees. Under this, the temple will be seen till 25 October. Though large number of darshans will be restricted, a limited number of devotees will suspend public transport in the city on 26 and 27 October on the main day, so that the devotees will not face any trouble. The divisional officer said that the police department has been directed to stop buses from coming to Vizianagaram Town. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to keep shops of liquor etc. within the radius of five kilometers. Also, the district administration plans to install 100 LED screens for this festival. So that devotees can watch Sirimnotsav comfortably.
