National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Selection Exam Postponed

National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Selection Exam Postponed ———— Now students will be able to apply till May 15 ———— The selection test to be held on May 2, 2021 for the “National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship” has been postponed until further orders in view of the current circumstances of Kovid 19. The new exam date will be announced separately. Additional Director of State Education Center, Shri O. L. Mandloi said that the last date to apply for this exam was 15 April in the past, which has been extended till 15 May 2021. Interested students will be able to apply for the exam through MP-online. The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has launched the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme for the economically weaker talented students in the year 2008. Scholarship is given to the selected students from class IX to XII at the rate of Rs 12 thousand per year. Regular students studying in class VIII, who have attained at least a ‘C’ grade in class VIII and whose parent’s gross annual income does not exceed one lakh fifty thousand rupees, may apply for this scholarship. This scholarship is only for regular students studying in government, government funded and local bodies schools.
