Maharashtra medical exams begin amid student’s opposition

On Thursday, the medical, dental and diploma courses for undergraduate students of Second Year and Third Year has started in Maharashtra. The exams have been started nearly six months behind schedule. According to sources, over 40,000 students are expected to write the exams physically at centres between June 10 and 30. This comes after students from the Maharashtra started opposing to cancel the exams due to COVID-19 pandemic. Many students have shared anger on social media against state government.
