Madhya Pradesh: COVID-19 curfew will impose till 7 May in the Khandwa district

The district administration has issued an order of imposing a COVID-19 curfew till May 7 in the Khandwa district under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Additional District Magistrate Shri S.L. Singhada issued a revised order only in the Khandwa district to prevent the rise in COVID-19 cases. During this time, hospitals, nursing homes, medical stores will be open. The sale of vegetables and fruits through mobile phones will be allowed from 6 am to 12 noon and from 5 pm to 7 pm. During this period, milk vendors will be allowed to distribute milk from 7 am to 8 am and from 6 to 8 pm. Home delivery will be allowed.

According to the order issued, two passengers in auto, e-rickshaw, and drivers and two passengers in private four-wheelers will be allowed to travel (with masks). People gathering for social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural, public, and religious events will be completely forbidden. Grocery wholesalers have been instructed to maintain the supply of material in retail grocery stores continuously and uninterrupted.
