Kotwali twentieth police busted illegal arms factory

Biswan Sitapur: A large number of illegal arms have been recovered by the Kotwali Biswan police team by busting the illegal arms factory. The Biswan Kotwali police dashed the plans to use these weapons during the panchayat elections. During the checking conducted by a team headed by Inspector-in-charge Inderjit Singh Chauhan, a accused Iliyas son Putu resident of Terdi Purva Biswan was arrested while constructing an illegal weapon. Arms, 6 semi-manufactured illegal weapons, 1 cartridge and illegal weapon making equipment were recovered. Legal action has been taken against the accused by registering a case under relevant sections. In-charge Inspector Indrajit Singh Chauhan said that the accused arrested is a vicious criminal who has been indulging in illegal arms operations in the past and is already selling and manufacturing illegal weapons in the hope of increasing demand for illegal weapons in the upcoming panchayat elections. In the past too, an indictment has been registered against the accused in connection with the recovery of the arms factory at the police station Biswan.
