On Monday, the Karnataka government announced to start a phased unlock across the state. This decision comes after the COVID-19 caseload recorded a drop on Sunday. The relaxations amid lockdown will start from 6 am on Monday to 6 am on June 21. The state government also announced that 11 districts will continue the curb as the cases in it are increasing. According to sources, the relaxation will allow shops with essential products to be opened from 6 am to 2 pm. Parks will remain from 10 am, while the street vendors can also work from 6 am to 2 pm. The 11 districts include Chikkamagaluru, Davangere, Mysuru, Hassan, Chamarajanagara, Mandya, Dakshina Kannada, Bengaluru Rural, Shivamogga, Belagavi and Kodagu.
