On Saturday, the Jharkhand government has imposed a complete lockdown in the state for the next 38 hours. This lockdown will be imposed between Saturday 4 pm till 6 am on Monday. Jharkhand’s health minister Banna Gupta said that “We have been successful in breaking the chain of the coronavirus. So, we will continue the effort.” He added shops’ opening time has been extended by two hours in all districts, except Jamshedpur. Earlier, the information and public relations department of the state government had issued a circular on June 9 regarding ‘Swasthya Suraksha Saptah’ from 6 am on June 10 to 6 am on June 17.
