India has won the second Test match against England at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. England had won the first match of the four-match Test series at the same ground by 227 runs, while India won the second match by a margin of 317 runs. Now the third Test match between the two teams will be played at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad from 24 February. In the second Test, the Indian team won the toss and scored 329 runs batting first, which included Rohit Sharma’s century. England had scored just 134 runs in their first innings. India had a lead of 195 runs and in the second innings, India scored 286 runs with the help of R Ashwin’s century. The England team, chasing the target of 482, piled on 164 and lost the match by a huge margin of 317 runs.
