AGRA – In a shocking episode of fraud in Agra, the local police has arrested a man from Ahmedabad who was trying to defraud a BJP MLA by claiming to be the nephew of Home Minister Amit Shah. What happened? According to the local MLA Yogendra Upadhyay, the accused Viraj Shah had been calling him every day for the past several days and seeking a meeting. When he called Shah to meet him in Agra, he came immediately and then claimed that he needed to go around Agra but he was not aware of the geographical locations in the city. So the MLA sent his son Vatsalya Upadhyay with Shah. Shah went to a garments shop and made purchases of about Rs 40 thousand. He then asked the MLA’s son to make the payment. When Vatsalya called his father about this, the MLA got suspicious and informed the police.
