The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the India’s financial capital will likely to receive heavy showers at isolated places. IMD also issued a yellow alert in Mumbai from June 17 to June 19. On Wednesday, the city has witnessed 23.8mm rain in nine hours, while the weather station in Colaba received heavier showers, recording 98.6mm of rain. According to sources, city recorded a maximum daytime temperature of 29.5 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The weather forecase body expects that there will be no major variation in temperature until June 22.
