On Thursday, the Indian Meteorological Department reported that some parts of the national capital has received light rainfall. IMD also expects that the temperature in the city will hover around 37-38 degrees Celsius (°C). According to Kuldeep Srivastava, head of IMD’s regional weather forecasting centre, the city temperature will take a little longer before the arrival of monsoon but did not commit to a date. Earlier on Monday, IMD predicted that monsoon will hit the Capital on June 15.
