If you want to know the truth of Uttar Pradesh’s health system, then come to the primary health center of village Behat Gaur, located just 22 kilometers from the district headquarters. Patients come here, but there is no arrangement for their facilities here. From electricity to water to sweepers are missing. Many times this problem has also been raised, but they are responsible that they are not ready to take care of it. Villagers from many nearby villages come for treatment at the additional primary health center at Beehtagore, a village under Block Pisawa. Despite this, the plight here is such that everyone is embarrassed to see it. All the facilities available under the health services have been missing from here. There is no electricity connection, nor drinking water system in the center building. There is also no system for patients to sit and avoid sunlight. Decades have passed since the water tank disappeared, but no steps are being taken to restart it.
