In Hamirpur district, more than half a hundred farmers, troubled by Anna animals, have demonstrated in the collectorate premises of the headquarters and have submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate demanding a solution to the problem. Angry farmers have accused the village head and secretary of being arbitrary and said that crops are being destroyed due to no arrangements for Anna animals. The food giver of the country itself has stood on the brink of starvation. The farmers have submitted a memorandum to the district administration and Anna should get rid of the animals and make arrangements for the protection of crops. Taking immediate action, the District Magistrate has instructed the Block Development Officer.
