The ongoing three-day Virat Manas Sammelan in Bagiagaon ended on Sunday after the Havan Pujan. On the last day of Sangeetmayi Ram Katha, Pandit Vashistha Narayan Upadhyaya, who came from Jaunpur, described Sita Swayamvar, and the audience became very excited. Katha Vyas, explaining to the audience the essence of Tulsidas Ji Maharaj’s chaupi, said that King Janak composed a swayamvar for the marriage of Sita ji. In which he laid the condition that he would marry his daughter with the one who would put a bow on the bow of King Shiva. The kings of many countries arrived to participate in Sita Swayamvara. But no one could move the bow. Seeing King Janaka worried, Guru Vishwamitra ordered Rama to lift the bow and remove King Janak’s anxiety and suspicion. The bow broke as soon as Prabhu Shriram attempted to offer a cross. As soon as the bow broke, Sita put Jayamala on Lord Rama’s neck. In this way Sita ji got married to Lord Shri Ram.
