Gumti fire – Old man sleeping in the kiosk survived

In Sultanpur Inn Night Branch Canal located in village Masera of Kumaraganj Police Station area, a fire was found under suspicious circumstances and all the items kept in the kiosk were burnt to ashes. However, the 65-year-old man, who was sleeping in a burning gum, was awakened from sleep and narrowly survived. According to the information received, 65-year-old Ram Bahadur Singh, a resident of Belkhara under Anjrauli village, on the banks of the canal located in Maceda village of Kumarganj police station area, opened a small paan and grocery shop in Gumti. He also used to sleep in the night.
