Gold prices fall marginally, silver price rises on Tuesday

The spot price of gold declined marginally on Tuesday. According to HDFC Securities, the price of 24-carat gold in Delhi declined by nine rupees per 10 grams. Due to this, the price of gold in Delhi was reduced to Rs 46,900 per 10 grams. In the previous session i.e. on Monday, the gold price was Rs 46,909 per 10 grams. Whereas, an increase in the price of silver was recorded. According to Securities, silver prices rose by Rs 95 to Rs 69,530 per kg in the national capital, as against Rs 69,435 per kg in the previous session. Globally, gold was trending at $ 1,821 an ounce. Silver remained flat at $ 27.60 an ounce.
