After a big drop in COVID-19 cases in Delhi, the government decided to unlock the state with few restrictions from Monday. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has started the Metro Rail services with 50% seatings as per given COVID-19 guidelines. Also banned the standing commute for passengers. On Sunday, DMRC shared a tweet saying, “Passengers will be allowed to travel by seating only on alternate seats with no provision for standing travel till further directions.” The Delhi Metro has resumed on June 7 after a big drop in COVID-19 caseloads. Earlier on Sunday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that all activities include all market shops, restaurants, and malls from 10 am and 8 pm.
