Delhi gets 2.3 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses today

On Wednesday, the national capital of India has received 2.3 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccines. This stock comes after several vaccination centres were shut down due to a shortage. According to sources, Out of 2,35,500 doses, 62,160 are Covaxin and remaining 1,73,340 are of Covishield vaccines made in India. The Delhi Government bought this fresh supplies for those who are 18 years-and-above age group. In a recent bulletin, Delhi’s ruling party – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said, “Now the youth can come forward to receive their shots. Hope the supplies from the Centre keep coming.” They added, “Currently, Delhi is in a comfortable position in terms of vaccine stock.”
