DDC Election 2020: Terrorism dwarfed by vote injury in Jammu and Kashmir

After the removal of Jammu Article-370, people have given a befitting reply to the anti-national forces by joining the celebration of democracy in Jammu and Kashmir. Polling in the district development council (DDC) elections held for the first time on Saturday was 51.76 percent. In the first phase of voting in 43 seats, the enthusiasm of the people came up. Voting took place for 25 seats in Kashmir and 18 seats in Jammu under tight security. During this time there was no untoward incident. Let me tell you that the election process to be held in eight phases will last till December 19. The result will be announced on 22 December. In the ballot paper voting, the fate of 296 candidates has been closed in the voting boxes.
