*DDC Constituency Rajwar set to witness fierce contest, young lawyer likely to contest the elections.* After much anticipation over his move Adv Mir Imran is likely to contest DDC elections from Rajwar as an independent candidate. Adv Mir Imran, Kashmir University pass out, professionally a lawyer, caught the nation’s eyes over his active role amid lockdown. His voluntary services were recognised and appreciated across the nation. Phase wise election dates have been announced in different phases for DDC elections but so far Gupkar alliance couldn’t agree on their appearance and seat-sharing formula herein North Kashmir’s Handwara assembly segment. Yes, I am intending to contest, but the decision will be taken at an appropriate time,” Adv Mir Imran said on Tuesday. He also said that despite the center initiated and funded several development projects in the area from time to time but the former political parties were incapable in building basic infrastructure.
