RATNAGIRI, MAHARASHTRA – Ravindra Kate, a local villager from Ratnagiri has won the auction for underworld don and fugitive Dawood Ibrahim’s property in Mumbka village of Khed taluka. He won the property in a sealed-tender auction conducted by SAFEMA. The property was bought at a price of Rs 1,10,01,051. The reserve price of this property was Rs 1,09,15,500. DAWOOD PROPERTY TO BE USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSE The property bought by Kate is said to have a structure which used to be a petrol pump. Although the condition of the structure is extremely dilapidated but according to those in the know, Kate is also likely to use the property for commercial purposes. Speaking on Dawood’s property being sold, SAFEMA’s additional commissioner R D’Souza said, “Our focus this time was to auction the sensitive property as it is very close to the highway.
