Cold snap in the state

The minimum temperature in many parts of the state fell below average on Monday, while in many places in Marathwada and Vidarbha, the mercury dropped to 10 degrees. The minimum temperature in the state has been declining for the past two days due to the cold wave in the northern states. Mercury dropped further in several places across the state on Monday. However, due to cyclonic conditions in the Bay of Bengal, it is likely to increase in two days, the meteorological department said. As a result, temperatures are expected to fluctuate over the next five to six days. Also the weather will remain dry.
